A Deeper Dive: More About My College Journey

In my pursuit of higher education, I have chosen to study Arts Administration. Having spent the last 4 years experiencing a true arts education at Henrico High School Center for the Arts as a musical theatre major, I discovered that an impact can be made beyond the main stage. Impact in the arts administration career field and real-life context looks like being a Manager for a Professional Performer, the Director of a Performing Arts Program, Programming and Production Director for a professional theatre company, and many more opportunities! Other similar career fields include Tourism and Event Management, Hospitality, and Communications. Being a 4.3 GPA, A+ student I have plenty of options, considering the 14 colleges/universities I have applied to! After seriously considering all of my acceptances, their scholarship offers, and academic reputations with my parents I have chosen to study Arts Administration at Elon University in North Carolina! I am beyond thrilled and excited to be entering into this new step in my life and can't wait to get started!
